Darwin “Buzzz” Richardson has been active in the Motorcycle Industry for over 35 years. Starting as a counterman in an Aftermarket Shop in the 70’s he has done every job imaginable in a motorcycle shop including being the owner of Road Hawgs Scooter Service and Road Dawgs-One Stop Biker Shop in the 80’s & 90’s.

He is the original inventor/founder of Panzer Motorcycle Works USA, a licensed Maunufacturer of Panhead powered motorcycles from 1996 – 2002.  He is also the manufacturer and world wide distributor of Round Air Cleaner kits for S&S carburetors and a few other parts that are sold through several aftermarket parts distributors. He is the inventor and patent holder for Panhead billet rocker arm guides with replaceable bronzium bushings. His custom and restoration projects have won several awards and been featured in many motorcycle publications.

Since Buzzz, left the original Panzer company right before it’s demise and liquidation in 2002, he has been rebuilding, stroking and restoring HD Panhead engines and motorcycles for customers all around the country and in Canada.

Now with the restart of Panzer Motorcycle Works, Buzzz plans on continuing to work on older Pans & Shovels while starting to build a few custom bikes for people. These bikes will be either Knucklehead, Panhead or Shovelhead powered. PERIOD END OF STORY… NO Evo’s or Twinkies…

He plans on keeping the new company small and friendly with not near the hassle of the 1 motorcycle a day production level previously achieved by Panzer.  A couple of Prototype models will be coming out soon. Probably a Hardtail & Softail Bobber/Chopper. All the new bikes will have easily removable turn signals & horns on them. Those accessories will be necessary to get inspected and titled in your State, then I am sure that most will be removing them. The new models will come with all the paperwork needed to get a builders/homemade/Special Construction Title in all of the United States. That process and expense will be the Owner’s responsibility as will the transportation of the completed motorcycle from Panzer Motorcycle Works to the owner’s location.

Please be aware of the time that may be needed to obtain your Title from your State’s DMV. Some are very quick and easy and others can take a couple of months, so allow that much time before you want to ‘legally’ ride your new bike.
